It is my sincere pleasure to introduce and recommend Sharon White as a qualified candidate for any position that meets with her skill set. Sharon worked for me from October 2007 – February 2010 as the Neptune Resort’s Assistant General Manager. The Neptune Resort is a beach side resort located in Ft. Myers Beach, FL.
She was extremely dedicated, hard working, caring of her staff, reliable, creative and very genuine. Sharon always strived to ensure that she and her front office staff met the guest’s needs and expectations. She is also proficient with the social and internet mediums, which is vital in today’s hotel & resort industry.
As of February 22, 2010, the hotel officially changed ownership and the new owner elected to eliminate this position thus affecting Sharon’s position. This decision was merely at the discretion of the new owner and in no way reflective of Sharon’s performance while working for S&L Hospitality. If the right opportunity ever presented itself in the future, I would not hesitate rehiring Sharon for a similar type position and I would even consider her for a General Manager position for a similar type of hotel or resort property.
